Pixars -"UP"
Movie Review: UP
Movie Review: UP
What a spectacular movie. In so many ways, I tip my hat to Pixar, and to my disgruntled admittance also to Disney, for the creation of this movie. Let me be upfront and tell you the best part of this movie, the Real 3D. The real 3D is amazing because it adds a layer of depth to the movie, that we've never seen used with "3D" movies. Usually in 3D movies there's stuff popping out of the screen in our faces, but it seems Disney has matured thier 3D, to a level that adds a real richness to the film.
The story, of course follows Disneys classic formula, and it's perfectly wonderous on screen. This movie has done something, that I've not seen done with real actors or otherwise in a long time, and did it in 20 minutes. The begining scene with the two children goes through a man and womans life together, with thier quirks and shows a level of love and compassion that is hard to reach even with real actors. But within 20 minutes Pixar does it.
The characters in the movie are quite distint, and thier personalitys clash & bash throughout the movie, yet blend well when called for. All in all "Up" is a must see movie not only for it's amazing story and visual beauty, but for an entertaining and funny movie of the likes of "Cars" "Toy Story" and "Monsters Inc."
